Why Tahiti & Fiji is Bucket List Worthy
Vacationing in the South Pacific is absolutely remarkable! Out of all of the islands, there truly isn’t a wrong choice, but there are good reasons why Tahiti and Fiji have made quite the impression. Here is just a sample of what makes them bucket list worthy!
Sublime Scenery – Turquoise waters, rain forests, quaint villages, and spectacular sunsets. Need I say more?
Hungry? Think Fresh –There is nothing better than fresh seafood, mouthwatering pineapple, and sweet coconut milk! A lot of the food you will find is homegrown and freshly picked. Plus, Tahiti is home to Roulottes, or food trucks. You may not see Waffle Love or Cupbop out on the street, but Tahitians know how to cook, and boy, even in a food truck, they cook well.
Overwater Bungalows – Those overwater bungalows shown on the front cover of magazines is a real-life beauty to behold. This unique home away from home (I say unique because not many places in the world offer accommodations over the water) is the perfect place to watch the sun rise and set in the comfort of your own secluded paradise. Many overwater bungalows also include a partial glass floor for viewing exotic sea life below.
Tahitian and Fijian People – To say that the people of Tahiti and Fiji are generous and kind is a major understatement. They are some of the most welcoming people I’ve come to know, who genuinely care about your comfort as you visit their home land. Their love of life and exuberant personalities are contagious in every way.
Not Just for Lovers – These islands may be the epitome of a romantic holiday and ideal for honeymooners or lovers of all kinds, but it is also a place where families can enjoy time together. Tahiti is wonderfully suited for couples while Fiji is well-matched for couples and families alike. There are many opportunities to immerse yourself in the native culture through dance, music, and food.
Relaxation + Adrenaline – For those seeking relaxation and the “beach life” or for the adrenaline junkie out there, Tahiti and Fiji offer the best of both worlds. There are plenty of beaches (they are islands after all) to do all things with soaking in the sun. The pristine beaches are also some of the best areas to have a picnic. The marine life is the perfect arena for high adventure. Snorkeling, diving, surfing, horseback riding, and hiking are just a few of the many adventurous activities available for visitors and natives alike.
Even if I were to list all of the reasons why you should go to the islands of Tahiti and Fiji, there wouldn’t be enough pages to write them all down. Tahiti and Fiji are both wonders to behold and every dollar spent on getting there has been worth it. Go see it for yourself!
